About Samantha Jean Hairstylist

Born and raised on Long Island NY, Sam was immersed from a young age in a rich hairdressing community within her families East Northport salon. Education was very important to the culture of the salon where she became obsessed with the Art & Science that IS hair design…

Over the last decade, she has continued to take continuing education classes as well as countless certifications in order to enhance her cosmetology license. All with the intentions of bring the absolute most to her clients!

Her passion and desire to impact the industry has put her in a position to work on many amazing projects, she is always grateful and humbled by these experiences and says she always learns more coming out of them then she had going in.

She has been honored to work with some of the most amazing photographers and creative designers in the industry as well as some high profile names you may recognize!

Her latest endeavor is as an Educator herself! Cooperation > Competition is her point of view so in an effort to positively impact the hairdressing community she has taken a role as a Brand Specialist and Regional Educator for AQUA Hair Extensions.

She feels she can inspire stylists to be the best they can be and to create the best work they can for their clients. She fully enjoys the “exchange” of knowledge that goes on when someone is teaching. They say when one person teaches two people learn and that is an aspect of the process that she fully enjoys.

Out of all of her project and endeavors- the most important piece of her business are her brides. That is the aspect that she says, “has her heart.” Getting to know her brides, getting to understand their point of view and values all help her to design a custom look that truly fits you and your day.

As an “engineer” of hair - as she considers herself- you know your hair will last. it will be light and comfortable and it will move with you. If you have a concern with your hair holding a curl, this is the stylist for you.

Her favorite aspect of the bridal industry is the sense of community that goes along with it. She has a large network of artists that she works with on a regular basis to make sure that each bride has the team that fits them!
